This conference is a gathering of physicians, healthcare professionals, students, researchers, and educators interested in Teaching Kitchens and their related programs. 

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Discuss examples of Teaching Kitchens.

  • Recognize the necessary facilities and core costs to produce a Teaching Kitchen.

  • Identify examples of ongoing studies involving Teaching Kitchen related programs in hospitals, community settings, universities, and corporate worksites.

 

ACCREDITATION STATEMENT 

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by MedStar Health and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. MedStar Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

Credit Designation

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 7.5 Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change.​ IPCE credits are category 1 CME credits for physicians, ANCC credits for nurses and ACPE credits for pharmacists.​
